In this series, I will write about South Indian Food – Typically Telugu food

#SouthieSaga – Jantikalu

The queen of (esoteric cuisine) Andhra  pindivantalu

Would no doubt be the classic Janthikalu

Auspicious occasions, picnics or  get-togethers are incomplete without this traditional savory

To get that golden brown, evenly cooked crunchiness, a deft hand compulsory

Mix Besan, Rice flour with adequate salt, chillies, ajwain, sesame seeds into a thick dough

Take a thick pan, heat the oil, fill the mould with dough, press into a tiered circle, real slow

Serve some hot and save  rest

Will they last long? that’s your test!
